TMTギア―東京芸術劇場クリエイター支援プロジェクトTMT GEAR The Creator Support Project Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre

東京芸術劇場が、2024年度より実施しているプロジェクト「TMTギア」。

次期芸術監督（舞台芸術部門は演劇作家・岡田利規氏、音楽部門は指揮者・山田和樹氏）と当館スタッフがメンターとなり、劇場内外でのクリエイション、海外でのリサーチやプロモーション活動など、劇場とアート・クリエイターが一体となって、世界に向けたプロジェクトの実現を目指します。

当プロジェクトの特徴の一つは、アート・クリエイターだけではなく、伴走する映像メディアチーム、インハウス（東京芸術劇場）のプロデューサー、舞台技術スタッフも専門家による指導やOJT（On job training）により育成することです。

プロジェクトの名称「TMTギア」とは、
次代のアート・クリエイターたちに未来を切り拓きサヴァイヴするための〈ギア〉―装備、変速装置―をこのプロジェクトを通して探しあて、開発し、身に付けてほしい……という思いを込めた名称です。

芸劇から未来へ、東京から世界へ。

これから、2026年度の国内公演および、その先の海外公演の実施を目指してまいります。

What is TMT GEAR (TMT GEAR The Creator Support Project Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre)?

This is a project that the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre has been implementing since FY2024.

The new artistic directors (Okada Toshiki (Artistic Director, Performing Arts) and Yamada Kazuki (Artistic Director, Music)) and other staff of the theatre will serve as mentors, and the theatre, artists, and creators will work together to achieve projects for the world, including creation in and outside of the theatre, research overseas, and promotion activities, etc.

One of the characteristics of this project is that it is not only for the training of artists and creators, but also for the development of visual media teams, in-house (Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre) producers, and stage technicians who accompany them using coaching and OJT (On the job training) from experts.

The name of the project, TMT GEAR, was chosen because:
It is a name that incorporates the hope that the next generation of artists and creators will discover, develop, and acquire the “gear” (equipment and gear box) to open a way through and survive the future through this project.
From Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre to the future, from Tokyo to the world.
Going forward, we will aim to hold performances in Japan in FY2026, and performances abroad thereafter.

額田大志　NUKATA Masashi: 作曲家・演出家・劇作家。1992年東京都出身。東京藝術大学在学中にコンテンポラリーポップバンド『東京塩麹』結成。FUJI ROCK FESITVALの出演など、現在までリーダーとして精力的に活動。 2016年に演劇カンパニー『ヌトミック』を結成。「上演とは何か」という問いをベースに、音楽のバックグラウンドを用いた脚本と演出で、パフォーミングアーツの枠組みを拡張していく作品を発表している。
NUKATA Masashi (b. 1992) is a composer, director and playwright who heads the performing arts group Nuthmique as well as the eight-piece music group Tokyo Shiokouji. His stage work interrogates the very notion of performance, pushing the boundaries of performing arts with scripts and directorial techniques that draw on his musical background. He actively collaborates not only with actors, but with artists from diverse genres including dance, rap, and film. He has won top prizes at the 16th Aichi Arts Foundation Drama Award and the 2018 Komaba Agora Directors Concours.

山崎阿弥　YAMASAKI Ami: 声のアーティスト、美術家。自らの発声とその響きを感受しエコロケーションに近い方法で空間を認識する。音響的な陰影を変容させ世界がどのように生成されるのかを問い、科学者との協働に力を入れる。近年は『100年の宇宙見つめる眼・歌う声』（国立天文台, 2024）、
サルヴァトーレ・シャリーノ作曲『ローエングリン』演出・美術（神奈川県民ホール, 2024）、
「JAPAN. BODY_PERFORM_LIVE」（PAC Milano, 2022）他。
YAMASAKI Ami is Voice and visual artist. She senses her vocalizations and their resonances, recognizing a space by a method similar to echolocation. She transforms the acoustic shadings to question how the world is made, and she is committed to collaborating with scientists. In recent years, she has worked on "100 Years of the Universe: Gazing Eyes, Singing Voices" (National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, 2024). Stage direction and set design for "Lohengrin" composed by S. Sciarrino (Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, 2024). "JAPAN. BODY_PERFORM_LIVE" (PAC Milano, 2022).

布施砂丘彦　FUSE Sakuhiko: 劇場の内と外で、演奏、批評、公演やイベントの企画制作、舞台作品の演出などを行っている。演奏家としてはコントラバスでのプロオーケストラへの首席客演、実験音楽の演奏、即興パフォーマンスなどを行うほか、古楽器の演奏もしており、2021年からアントネッロおよびバッハ・コレギウム・ジャパンに参加。批評家としては第7回柴田南雄音楽評論賞奨励賞を受賞。近年は諸ジャンルの音楽家、俳優、ダンサー、現代美術の作家などとも協働している。
FUSE Sakuhiko is active both within and beyond the theatre as an instrumentalist, performer, critic, producer, and stage director. As an instrumentalist, he joins professional orchestras as guest principal double bassist, performs experimental music and improvisation, and also specializes in historical instruments and has performed with Anthonello and Bach Collegium Japan since 2021. As a music critic, he received the Encouragement Prize of the 7th SHIBATA Minao Music Criticism Award. In recent years, he has collaborated with classical and non-classical instrumentalists, practitioners of Japanese traditional performing arts, actors, dancers, and contemporary artists.

長瀬善則　NAGASE Yoshinori: 慶應義塾大学経済学部卒業後、金融機関に新卒入社し、会社員の傍らバークリー音楽大学音楽経営学修士へリモートで進学/卒業(Dean’s List)。現在、社費派遣生としてコロンビア大学経営大学院(MBA)にフルタイムで在籍しながら、パートタイムでジュリアード音楽院Extension Programに在籍し、DTM/音楽制作をAnthony Barfield氏に、ピアノを Lisa Yui氏に師事。直近は音楽プロダクションでの楽曲制作や、コンサート/音楽ラジオ出演等、様々な音楽企画に従事。
NAGASE Yoshinori is a Japanese music producer whose creative vision fuses artistic imagination with business insight. From live and digital productions to music crowdfunding and radio, his practice embraces cross-cultural traditions, designs innovative musical experiences, and reimagines the relationship between sound and society. He holds a BA in Economics from Keio University, an MA in Music Business from Berklee College of Music, and an MBA from Columbia Business School, while also studying music production (DTM) and piano at The Juilliard School Extension Program.

吉野良祐　YOSHINO Ryosuke: オペラ演出家・演出助手。気鋭のオペラカンパニーNovanta Quattroなどで演出作品を発表するほか、中村敬一氏らのアシスタントとして、びわ湖ホール、アントネッロなど各地のプロダクションで演出助手を務める。舞台美術やコンサートの空間構成、レクチャーなどを手がける。伴奏法を河原忠之氏に師事。建築史研究者でもあり、東京造形大学などで教鞭を執る。片岡安賞（日本建築協会）など受賞。共著に『東京時影 1964/202X』（羽鳥書店、2023年）がある。
YOSHINO Ryosuke is an opera director and assistant director. In addition to directing works for the cutting-edge opera company Novanta Quattro, he has also assisted Nakamura Keiichi and others as an assistant director on productions at Biwako Hall, Antonello, and other venues around the country. He is involved in stage design, concert spatial composition, and lectures. He studied accompaniment under Kawahara Tadayuki. He is also an architectural history researcher and teaches at Tokyo Zokei University and other institutions. He has received the Kataoka Yasushi Award (Architectural Association of Japan) and other awards. He is the co-author of Tokyo Jiei 1964/202X (Shadows of Time - Cross-Cultural Reflection on Tokyo 1964 / 202X)
