DEI Dance Facilitation Course: Pursuing Expression Born from Diversity
Nohara College 2025 Basic

"Nohara" refers to free creation and expression through one’s own body while respecting individuality and valuing engagement with the environment. We are training facilitators in order to expand this activity. In the Nohara College course, participants develop their practical facilitation skills through inclusive dance workshops held at public cultural facilities, and welfare facilities, etc., while at the same time learning the theories and knowledge that are unique to Nohara.
This project is a continuation of the course implemented in FY2024, and it is jointly sponsored by Chofu City Green Hall, Tiara Koto, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, Midori Art Park, and the NPO Inclusive Field for Dance. As a place where diverse people from across specialties and fields, such as arts and welfare, etc., gather, our aim to be a driving force for the birth of dialogue and re-learning, and for facing and changing society from the fields of culture and art.
