Evacuation Drill Event, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre Vol.1 ～Concert Hall Version～

Ahead of its reopening, the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre will hold a concert that will include an evacuation drill.
This will be a special performance where, under the scenario that a major earthquake has occurred during the performance, we will conduct a mock evacuation drill for audience members and staff. Our aim is to achieve safer hall operations by improving the disaster prevention awareness of visitors to our theatre and by strengthening the crisis response capabilities of hall staff.

Precautions

An evacuation drill will be held in the middle of this performance.
All audience members are requested to participate in this evacuation drill. In addition, you may be asked to help other audience members evacuate.
The audience seats in the concert hall will be on the 7th to 9th floors of the building. Staff will ask you to move down to the 1st floor of the building during the evacuation drill using the stairs or slope, and to leave the theatre.
As such, please try to bring a minimum amount of baggage on the day of the performance and please wear shoes and clothes that are easy to walk in.
The evacuation route includes some stairs, and for this reason we may ask audience members in wheelchairs to move to a cloth stretcher held by several helpers or to evacuate using a platform lift.
Bar corners, the cloakroom, and childcare facilities will be closed. Vending machines will not be in operation.
Relevant persons may join or observe this performance. In addition, please note in advance that you may be asked questions or have your photo taken by the media, etc.
Please enter using the Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Park entrance and show your ticket when you arrive.
Admission after the performance has started will not be allowed due to the special features of this event. Please make sure to give yourself ample time to arrive before the performance start time.
